The head of the Pistachio Association said: "In 1400, the production of this product is 20 to 25 percent less than in 1999, and this shortage of production is normal. We have had some frost in the cities and there has even been some heat this year.

Salehi said: "The world price of pistachios has risen by about 25% compared to four months ago, and the exact price cannot be announced domestically due to high fluctuations in the dollar."
